Overall, Sur is a relaxing, comfortable, and practical choice in the quiet shores of Station 1.

The location is definitely perfect for those who want to avoid crowds and the party scene. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, always ready to cater to your needs with a smile.

The room we stayed at was a bit run-down, especially the bathroom. There were ants that would make it to the night stand and even the bed. However, I’ve stayed here numerous times before but was probably assigned to the newer rooms.

Service, location and peace is Sur’s best selling points.

Service is top-notch. Location and quietness is exceptional. Great value for money.

One instance of weird, vinegar smell in the room. Sliding door locks need upkeep. There is no exhaust fan in the room toilet.

не знаю, насколько имею право сравнивать отели, но в прошлом году жила в соседнем Hennan 5*. Так вот этот отель мне понравился больше)))). Ухоженный, домашний, много красивых уютных мест как для компании, так и посидеть подумать одному) . Территория чистая, зеленая, постоянно поддерживается полный порядок. Завтрак - шведский стол, не очень много блюд, но все пять дней - совершенно разные .А самое главное - абсолютно вкусно все, адаптировано под европейца. На завтрак два вида фруктов в неограниченном количестве, чай, кофе можно тоже наливать много раз. В течение дня всегда на пляже предлагают воду, даже не предлагают, а ты только приходишь в бар на пляже или занимаешь лежак, сразу стакан с холодной водой в красивом бокале). Персоналу отдельное огромное спасибо, очень доброжелательный, улыбчивый, искренний. Я бы даже отметила, что персонал уникальный)))), очень внимательный, многие мелкие вопросы решались даже раньше, чем мы о них подумали)))). Манговые шейки в ресторане - лучшие по соотношению цена/вкус. а мы знаем в них толк)))). И вообще, последние два дня мы ужинали у себя в отеле, это было дешевле и вкуснее, чем мы ужинали на 2- ой станции. Однозначно рекомендую и уверена, что обязательно вернусь в этот отель).

Номерной фонд не новый((. И обязательно надо вымыть окна. Перед соседним отелем ежедневно устанавливались сетки для волейбола и тенниса, было очень интересно наблюдать за игрой. А вот если бы у нас была возможность взять оборудование напрокат и тоже поиграть, это вообще было бы незабываемо. Рассмотрите возможность покупки такого инвентаря, он для вас окупится быстро, а гости с большой пользой и большим интересом проведут время.

Excellent and will come back and stay again there.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, they change the menu everyday, except for the pancakes, bread and spreads. The front desk granted our request to have our rooms adjacent with our kids. The rooms are very spacious, including the bathroom. We have our own balcony too. The linens and towels are fresh. We even borrowed beach towels for the island hopping tour or whenever we went to the beach. The beach is just by the hotel/resort. There were beach volleyball and tennis courts set-up right in front of the hotel. The location is also excellent. Going to D'Mall is easy. The hotel security helps us with getting a ride. The place is very secured. They also allowed us to check-in early, like 10AM, since the rooms are already available. Will definitely stay again there.

When we had drinks at the bar (beachfront), there are no ambient music. It would have been nicer to have some nice music while guests hang out there. There is no free Wi-Fi inside our rooms. Only at public areas, but still the signal was bad.

Sur feels like home located at the best part of Boracay beach.

My family have been staying at Sur since 4 times in the last 10 years. Their efficient and friendly service and hospitality never changed. They show genuine care for their guests from the guard, specially the guards to the front desk people. You get your money’s worth to be at the best part of the beach with its station 1 and much cheaper than it’s neighboring hotel. We did transfer to another hotel because they don’t have a pool, but we came to realize who needs a pool when you are at one of the best beaches in the world. Sur is always and my favorite place to stay in Boracay!

Solo Traveler on Work Mode

Loved the felt hospitality in the resort. The room I was in had really good airconditioning and was more than comfortable for me. Internet speed was also just ok inside the room. At around 15-30MBPS, it still allowed me to work while there. My friend in another room though had zero wifi reception and had to be transferred to another room. Breakfast was standard, nothing stood out but does give you sufficient options. Food was also decent, and their fruit shakes were really good too. This resort is absolutely value for money considering the basic accommodation but more importantly the location!

Just did not appreciate the lack of coordination between the Front Desk and the Concierge - it took them around 10mins to find where our bags were! If the van for airport transfer was already there waiting, 10mins was a long time to waste.

Our trip to Boracay was made even more relaxing because of Sur's location and atmosphere

We loved this part of Station 1 as it was not as crowded and noisy, and it's still accessible to the places we went to. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning as well as the beach front area where we just got to relax and read our books. The staff was also courteous and friendly.

Lovely escape

We loved the location and the ambience. Nice walks on the beach to the upper Stations of Boracay. While it's not for from us, we will go there frequently for our small escapees

The food could be better. But that doesn't matters because beside is an excellent food and they allow to deliver to the place.

I'll be back!

Room was spacious with balcony to hang wet clothes. Breakfast was also good and staff were very helpful. Food was reasonably priced with large servings. Beach towels were provided. Easy access to the beach with lounge chairs in front of the hotel. Perfect spot to view the sunset. Hotel is in the less crowded part of the beach.

Noise from the nearby hotels can be heard in the room. Hotel is quite far from the row of restaurants, but one can take a trike if too tired to walk.

They gave us the worst room in that hotel. But atleast the staffs are nice and kind .

Breakfast was good although not too many options

Our 1st 2 nights we smell so bad coming from the toilet and shower uncovered drain, we didn’t complain, until on the 3 rd day after chilling by the beach,wants to take a shower but unfortunately, there’s no water at all, was forced to take a shower outside, no body gives us notice that there will be water interruption. I was so upset and told the receptionist all about our complains. It was our first time in boracay and was excited to see and stay in comfortable room but everything was a dissapoinment. They finally moved us to another room on our last night, we accepted it bec.we can’t take any longer the smell in our room.

location, outside seating areas, the cabanas, happy hour time, friendly staff. stayed here more than 5 times in the past 20 yrs and will still go back here.

bathroom needs refurbishment (water leaks on the floor outside the shower area when you shower and position of basin was inside the shower wet area). Lack of choice for breakfast and you have to choose your bfast the day before (pre pandemic it was buffet)

staff are so nice and helpful, they have a good beach front area, it is a clean resort sorry to say T&B is not really good, water heater is sometimes working but most of the time is not, shower door is like halfway done, bedroom area is big we got the triple sharing, space was not put into use properly because lacking of extra tables, though plus points for the hanging stand provided for wet clothes outside the room. breakfast food is good. our experience of the room was compensated with the good staff.

T&B is outdated, shower head is partially damaged, water in the shower is low, the water in the sink has stronger pressure

Disappointing

Before the reservation I mentioned that is going to be our anniversary trip. Thanks for the ballons, but the toilet didnt work as supposed, water was spilling out from the toilet and the shower. Also we could hear everyone outside, passing by our room so we couldnt sleep normally. The breakfast was only two types (american and filipino). The furniture and door were very old:( and the hair dryer almost burned our hair :/ However the staff is very kind and helped us with getting the taxi etc. In addition, the beach was very dirty, maybe thats because of the typhoon, but in comparison to other hotels Sur beach had a lot of trash. Please also note that photos on the booking completely differ from the reality.

Accessible to the beaches, restaurant etc. Free breakfast and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Slow internet connection. It would be nice if there is a pool though. The washroom leaks when we use the shower.
