Unsere Gastgeberin hat bei Ankunft auf uns gewartet. Sie hat uns unser Zimmer gezeigt und alles erklärt. Wir hatten 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer und einen Wohn-/Essbereich. Jedes Zimmer hatte Zugang zu einem eigenen Balkon.
Das Appartment war super sauber. Es wurde jeden Tag blitzeblank gereinigt, frische Handtücher lagen jeden Tag bereit. Und sollte mal etwas Geschirr vom Frühstück (diese Unterkunft bietet Selbstverpflegung) in der Spüle stehen geblieben sein, dann war auch dieses am Abend frisch gespült. Die Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern liefen reibungslos, genauso wie der Kühlschrank. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet. Spülmittel, Schwamm, Geschirrhandtuch, Küchenrolle war alles vorhanden und frisch/neu.
Kaffee konnte gleich auf 3 verschiedene Arten zubereitet werden - es gab eine Moka-Kanne, eine Kapselmaschine und eine French Press.
Selten so eine herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin erlebt. 100% Weiterempfehlung.
Kleine Tipps für den Urlaub:
Karpathos ist noch eine recht ursprüngliche Insel. Massentourismus und große Hotels gibt es hier nicht.
Auf dem Weg nach Lefkos ist es ratsam in Arkasa am Supermarkt zu stoppen und einzukaufen (es gibt nicht viele Möglichkeiten auf der Insel). Dieser Supermarkt ist zwar kleiner aber gut sortiert.
Das Auto (ohne geht es eigentlich nicht auf der Insel) sollte voll betankt sein, da auch die Tankstellen rar sind (bitte vorher erkundigen, wo sie sich befinden. Eher im Süden/Osten der Insel - im Norden gibt es keine!!!)
Auch wird Bargeld gerne gesehen. Es gibt zwar ATMs aber teilweise ist dort kein Geld verfügbar.

Η Βάσω καταπληκτική οικοδέσποινα πρόθυμη να σε βοηθήσει σε ότι χρειαστείς! Μα αυτό που μου άρεσε πιο πολύ ήταν η καθαριότητα στα δωμάτια που μοσχοβολούσαν αφού ήταν πολύ σχολαστική σε όλα της! Τοποθεσία ιδανική για ηρεμία κοντά στον λευκό και μεσοχώρι !

The location is very convenient for both beach holiday (Lefkos) and visiting northern parts of Karpathos. Apartment was excellent with a lot of room, 3 (three!) balconies and outside area. Everything was kept very clean and we had a great stay.
There are plenty of excellent eating places around but if you need to buy groceries for a larger family, I would recommend driving to the Carrefour in Arkasa.
