I was born in this city (then called Gheorghe Georgia Dej) ans saw this building in my neighborhood of 4 flats identical cubes. We didn't expect this big hotel in a 20000 people industrial town. And yet, in the times of Ceausescu the hotel received plenty of tourists from abroad, something we never saw before. Now after 50 years the hotel stands with the reputation of a big standing hotel in an industrial town. The service is good, the food also, and the price is not so expensive for the international standards. So yes I think this is the place to be in Onesti. The grill which opens by the hotel il very good too !

Great view and a really comfortable bed.
Being charged for every drink more than one at breakfast. I would have rather paid more in total for the breakfast.
