Check in was quick and the room was ready early which was great. The room was comfortable and well presented.
The hotel was very near the beach and we had the beach package which meant we were allocated a set of sunbeds and umbrella for the length of our stay. I thought this was a great idea.
There was a lovely bar which I believe opened early evening and we enjoyed a coffee, soft drinks and a cocktail. The staff here were great and very welcoming.
We were booked on a Bed and Breakfast basis but we slept so well we missed breakfast so cannot comment on this which was a shame as I had looked forward to it.
We booked in one evening for a meal but my daughter has a nut allergy and the waiter we had was a little rude and condescending about this. He could only suggest meals from the children's menu which was ok but when the food arrived it was a child size portion and my daughter is not a child.
I'm not sure what the allergy policy is but I believed that the 14 main allergies needed listing by law in Europe. Its bad enough being limited with what can be eaten but for the staff to think this was amusing, did annoy me. The waiter even said "You're still alive then!" after we had finished. Not on! My meal was delicious but it has been tainted by the atmosphere. We also carried an information card which was in English and Italian so things shouldn't have been too probelmatic.
The hotel caters for gluten free but that doesnt help a nut allergic at all even though I felt there was a misconception at the desk about this.
At checkout we were billed full price for the child's meal my daughter was given which I did complain about and I spoke to the manager who told me that if I had spoken to th restaurant staff, they would be able to accomaodate and change the meal. I explained that we had done this and mentioned the unprofessional behaviour in the restaurant which he was shocked at so hopefully, this will bve addressed.
I would still go back to the hotel as there were so many positives but I wouldn't risk the restaurant again. ( the other diners seemed very happy with the food but as an allergy sufferer I'd think twice!)

Clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Made a request and it was dealt with asap. Rooms cleaned daily.
Balcony not inviting and definitely not private. Very small shower cubicles. Fridge not cold enough (couldn’t be adjusted). Air con poor. Breakfast poor - not to standard expected or advertised. No honeycomb; toaster removed after few days; eggs and bacon removed. Poor selection of food - other options reduced after a few days - eg. Nuts and seeds. Not made clear when booking that sun-beds on beach not available at the time either.

The property is clean and well managed. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is exceptional. Gluten free and vegan options, a great variety of choices.
We had bad luck with the weather and decided to leave 2 days early (total trip was 3 nights). When the manager was asked whether we could find an arrangement (billing only on night or any other possible solution) He was reluctant to even discuss. The reason the manager stated: You booked via booking.com… of course, it is neither his nor anybodies fault that it was raining, however, at the end of the season I have no understanding for being greedy. He could have offered a voucher for two days which would bring us back to the place. And of course, we wouldn’t only stay for 2 nights when returning but booking a whole stay… no, he wanted to keep the 100 something euros per night…
Besides the described “issue” and not related or influenced to/by this: The place is spotless clean and has a good service, however, the price per night is not good value for money. The hotel needs renovation.
