Overall a pretty good authentic Japanese experience. The outdoor onsen was really good. And I really enjoyed the sea view from my room. Also, the employees were nice and always ready to help.
I really didn’t like the food, most of it was just tasteless. Such a disappointment, i was so eager to try some great authentic food. And in general not the best value for money.

I have been staying in the room with a personal bath. This is also my second stay at Yokikan. Kaiseki is great as always, everything is clean and decent. Atmosphere is amazing, will visit again next year for sure.
Ryokan is definitely old and it shows, but for me its the part of the charm and I like it the way it is.

The customer service here is exceptional and the food is of high quality and simply beautiful. I really enjoyed the different types of tea provided before and after dinner.
The rotonburo (outside Onsen) is a highlight. I went twice and had it all to myself. It’s the perfect temperature and such a beautiful outlook.

The lobby is gorgeous with the little waterfall and the koi fish, the staff was super attentive and helpful, the open air bath and the room were both veeeeery cute.
The towels were a little smaller than I like but they were fine
$$$$
