I went to Italy for my cousin’s wedding and stayed for 4 days at Pa' Carrera. It was very lovely and above all an extremely clean place. A lovely town for some peace and quiet. The host Lucia was very accommodating. Anna (Lucia’s mom) made a fresh cake or cookies daily for breakfast which were all delicious. I will definitely stay again.

- The stone house has a cute decoration
- Close to the family in Fragneto
- The host made a big effort to please us and brought cake every day for breakfast
- The heating and hot water was not working well and was only fixed on the day we were leaving. Every time we needed to take a shower someone had to stand next to the heater and regularly press the boiler reset button (we figured this out ourselves).
- The included breakfast is the very traditional italian, meaning coffee, milk and sugary foods, which we had to prepare ourselves (coffee in a mocca can, you have to use the gas stove yourself). We had to buy cheese, ham, butter and bread. So it is not a buffet breakfast but a DIY one with pre-bought groceries.
- This is a house with which you share the living room, the kitchen and the fridge. One of the rooms does not have a private bathroom, but you get exclusive access to the common one by having a key to it.
- We were having the house to ourselves (which is ideal) until a couple arrived late in the night (22:00), mistaking me for the accomodation owner. It took a while for them to understand I was also a guest. They needed to contact the host and then came again later in the night making a lot of noise. Not ideal if you have children who become afraid and need to sleep.
- One of the steps in the stairs is loose and could be very dangerous.
