Clean and nice hostel in Nagasaki. Good location for the station and seaside. Guests were nice and kitchen offered cool drinking water and kitchen equipment
Easy check-in but without any staff
Everybody is able to enter the facility because there is no locked door. But since it’s Japan you should always be safe

I had a room to myself that I found really well setup space wise, clean and well stocked, nice bed.
The common room invited chilling at the hostel after dinner time.
It was a quiet hostel and I found Nagasaki maybe also a sleepy town. Self check-in. Staff didn't host socially and no group chat with tips.
When I saw a staff member he was just living in the living room while more or less ignoring the guests and eating breakfast in the hammock.

Self check in, you could check in by yourself anytime. Bed is clean. Location is 5-8 mins walk from JR station, convenient but not expensive.
Much to say. Biggest problem is the air conditioning, it is fixed at 25 degrees, I feel quite hot and stuffy, especially i stay here during the rainy season. There is no lock for the door of mixed dorm. Anyone could enter the room anytime, which makes me feel a sense of insecurity, worry about my safety. Of course, nothing dangerous has ever happened. Only one shower room & one toilet for mixed dorm, you have to use them quick, and sometimes need to wait for 10 mins, not long though. No staff station here, except from the cleaning time on morning. Not a big problem for me.
