This is no doubt the CUTEST hostel I’ve stayed at! The owners Shingo and Nana were extremely welcoming, helpful and nice. The hostel is located minutes away from the Nagasaki station, across the street on a little hill. You get privacy in a single room sectioned off from other rooms on the same floor (although I think the top bunk could be used too, so you could share with someone when the hostel is busy I guess). There’s a kitchen, a bathroom, shower, sink, and laundry machines to share. Umbrellas are available for sharing.
Note: let the owner know the day before your arrival what time you’re going to be there. Otherwise check-in starts at noon, and the owner might be out so make sure you have a cellular plan that allows you to call the owner (number is posted on the door).

A perfect base for exploring Nagasaki and the surrounding area! The facilities are great, the location is perfect, and the accommodation is super clean. The bike rental service is brilliant too - thank you so much Shingo san for helping us organise a wonderful trip

Great location right next to 26 Martyrs Museum and St Philip’s church as well as close to many other attractions. The man who checked us in was very nice and accommodating. We also had the option to check in early, which was really nice.
The family room was in the basement and the shower and washer area had a terrible backed up sewer odor the whole time we were there especially right after or during use. There was no toilet in the apartment. You had to go outside the door to another door to use the toilet. Grant it, since there were no other rooms on the basement level, it was somewhat private, but very inconvenient to go outside the apt to use the restroom. The beds were very uncomfortable.
