Our stay at Estalagem de Marvão was one of the most memorable nights of our entire time in Portugal! The accommodations were incredibly cozy, luxurious, and beautifully appointed, with every detail making us feel genuinely cared for and right at home.
We absolutely loved wandering the charming cobblestone streets of the old town at night, soaking in the atmosphere, and having the ease of walking to dinner and exploring this magical village. There is something truly special about Marvão, and staying here made the experience even more unforgettable.
We only wish we had booked more time! Estalagem de Marvão is a place we will remember fondly and wholeheartedly recommend to all our friends. An absolute highlight of our Portugal trip!

This was a great location. The building is beautifully renovated inside. Our host, Joao, who runs the small convenience store downstairs was fantastic. Nice breakfast served in a cozy breakfast room, which is open for use during the day. The lady who runs the breakfast room was friendly and helped me with my Portugese lesson.
A historic site that was a great place to stay.
