Very poor
Great location
The AC does not work. The owner tells you she turns it on but it does nothing but blow warm air and does not cool at all the room. They also do not provide any fans Since it is quite hot in Ainsa, it makes it very uncomfortable in the room and difficult to sleep.

Great location, view and value for money while being surrounded by your grandmother's knick knacks.
The location of this hotel is fabulous!! We had a room on the top floor for two people which was clean, comfortable, specious and quiet. We had a car so we were able to drive in to the town and drop off our bags and then park in the main car park which was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and hospitable as it is a family business. The breakfast was basic, but the view out to the river was fabulous. This hotel has such potential that is not being utilised. I would recommend staying here as it was good value.
If I had one criticism is that there is too much stuff everywhere you go. The lobby and breakfast room is cluttered with fake flowers, chairs, tables, knick knacks, ceramics, wall hangings, paintings - there is not a wall or corner that is not filled with mismatched stuff - instead of feeling charming, it just feels scattered and claustrophobic. If they chose lovely traditional Spanish pieces that incorporate the old world character that is emulated by the town, they would really enhance the style of this hotel. Currently it's like walking into a house that is collectively owned by five great grandmothers with completely different taste, but on a mission to save and display everything they have purchased or acquired throughout their entire lives.

If you don’t mind firm beds and are aware of reception and breakfast hours, it’s worth a stay, given
Hotel Villa Románica — Aínsa THE BUILDING: The building is great! It’s in the old part of Aínsa, which is full of great, old buildings. LOCATION: It’s close to everything in the historic center, but just know that nothing is open very early — including a place to get coffee. On most cases, that can be solved by sleeping in, but if you have to get up early, you might be stuck. RECEPTION: Reception was easy and efficient, but there are a few quirks… —Breakfast isn’t until 8:00 so if you have to leave early, you won’t be able to get food or coffee. —Reception isn’t staffed 24 hours so you have to check in by a certain time, and if you have to leave early, you’ll have to pay the evening before (and find out where to leave the key). AIR CONDITIONING: The A/C doesn’t work very well. Luckily Aínsa cooled down pretty well that night so we ended up relying on keeping the balcony door open. THE ROOM: The bed was rock hard. I think I slept fine, but my wife didn’t like it at all. The great part of the room was the balcony. The views are amazing, and there is are a table and chairs for you to sit out there and read or work while enjoying the view. No in-room coffee. THE BATHROOM: The bathroom was clean and decent. The shower was good. NOISE: The room was completely quiet — we could not hear guests in other rooms. BREAKFAST: We did not book a room with breakfast, thankfully, because we had to leave before it was served. PARKING: There is not parking, but there is a city parking lot about a kilometer away (on the other side of the castle ruins) that charges 3 euros for overnight parking. You need coins for the parking. HOTEL SUMMARY: Great location in the historic quarter with fantastic balconies. If you don’t mind firm beds and are aware of reception and breakfast hours, it’s worth a stay, given the price. Also, be sure it isn’t going to be too hot since the A/C doesn’t work very well.
The bed and the air conditioning. Also the fact that there was no possibility of coffee before 8:00 AM (in the entire old quarter!).

Beautiful setting
The location and facilities were perfect.
I didn't like the fact that although I was the one to have booked it, check in was done with my male companion... It was polite enough but I felt invisible.
