A short drive into Bridgetown Main Street. Lovely country setting. Loved the geese, chickens and ducks that free ranged on the property. The cottage itself is dated but very clean. The kitchen was well fitted out to cook a meal. The reverse cycle air conditioning kept the cottage warm. We loved that we could take our fur baby with us. There is a large grassed area for wee walks.
We found dead bugs in the bedding of one the single beds. That was the only criticism we had.

Great location and the owners made our dogs very welcome.
The wood fire was delightful and warmed the chalet easily.
The resident ducks, geese, chooks and Guinea fowl were joyous to watch and feeding them was fun.
The owners were very helpful and communicated before and during our stay exceptionally well. They made us feel very welcome.

The accommodation was private, clean and well set up to accommodate our small dog. The chooks, geese and ducks coming to visit made it a great experience.
The location was beautiful.
