Soksan Natura Beach

This is a tiny little 'resort' on quite possibly the most beautiful beach ever. I visited in low season so it was very quiet. The two guys that run the place (Long & Sak) are both really lovely and are always around should you need anything. There are a few cute beach dogs around which is a plus if you enjoy the companionship. Food and beer is available all day in their little cafe. My bungalow had good aircon as well as hot water and the bed was very comfy.

The location is incredibly remote, so just know that going in. Also, given the remoteness, the sand fly population is threat level extreme! They apparently target by blood type and thus don't affect all people equally. I was unfortunately eaten alive whenever close to the beach, which is so ironically upsetting because the beach and ocean are so strikingly gorgeous. More populated beach areas tend to have less of a problem with the sand flies. Covering your body completely in coconut oil helps create a barrier that the flies can't bite through, but you absolutely must reapply after swimming so just becomes a huge hassle to relax and sink into the beauty of the place. I realize this is out of the control of Soksan Natura Beach Resort, and did not influence my overall score/rating of the property. Just leaving the comments here as a helping hand for anyone looking to stay in this area of paradise!

Very friendly staff with interesting conversation, beautiful and very peaceful location perfect beach getaway. Beach is quite clean and commodities are great especially for the price. Friendly dog is a huge bonus! Highly recommend!

The staff is seriously SO nice and helpful. The beach it is located is breath taking, peaceful, and easily the most beautiful on the island. A walk along the beach offers so many great places to eat, and the restaurant on site is great too! We would absolutely come back, and wish we could stay longer. Very spacious and quiet rooms. Bug screen was helpful, and bed was comfortable. Although the path to the place is sandy, we didn’t have problems at all, even with two people and all of our bags on one moped.

The AC unit was strong, but it was located on a wall the connected to the bathroom, so sometimes certain smells traveled toward the bed, as there was no fan in the bathroom to evacuate those smells during use… I truly can’t think of any other issues we had though!

The bangalôs are very humble, but you have the comfort you need and the AC really helps with the warm and humid air. The location is really good. You’re in the part of the beach that there’s almost no hotels, just one beside, and this area is super clean and quiet. (The areas that there are no hotels, the beach has a lot of trash coming from the sea). The staff is very kind.
