8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Lovely setting although a bit distant from where we preferred but this was Labour weekend and we were fortunate to find this. Two bathrooms and bedrooms were fantastic as my husband is recovering from an operation and this replicates what we have at home. Tv easy to work! Nice cooking facilities. Lovely deck Appreciated all the condiments. Milk, bread and eggs on arrival.
We are in our 80s and found couch rather too low for comfort. We watched tv on the bed! A comfortable higher chair would be great for aging bodies. Prefer soft pillows but then should have travelled with mine.

Rose cottage exceeding my expectations - I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the cottage felt and how well equipped the facilities were Upon arrival Eric had turned the heaters on and had turned the lights on so it was easy for us to find (we arrived post sundown), AND, bread, eggs, and spreads were placed in the fridge for us - really lovely surprise.
n/a Rose cottage was fantastic and I wouldn't change anything.
