Great location convenient to most train lines and popular sights like Dotonbori.
The walls were a bit thin and it was easy to hear people talking in the hallways.

We stayed in many large hotels chain during our trip to Japan, and unfortunately this was the most disappointing one, especially considering the high rating and recommendations from other guests.
The entrance area is not particularly welcoming. We arrived just 2 hours before check in at around 1pm, and although our room was already ready, we were asked to pay ¥2,000 for the early check in. We understand that this is the hotel’s policy, but after staying at several large hotel chains in Japan where early check in was offered free of charge whenever the room was ready, this felt unwelcoming. Staff felt cold and not as welcoming as we are use to in Japan.
Unfortunately, there was also a strong unpleasant smell throughout the hallway and in our bathroom, which really affected our overall experience.
Perhaps we were unlucky, but based on the high rating and recommendations, we expected a much better experience.
