Owners are very nice and welcoming! They showed us arround the grounds upon arrival taking the time to show us where to find all the animals. Gardens were pristine, lots of animal spottings including Sloths and Iguanas, along with little frogs and Agouti's. Pool (open 8a-8p) was clean and enjoyable. Location was close enough to town to walk, although driving is an option. Pleanty of parking in town next to restaurants. Parking is gated and secure.
Owners live upstairs from our unit... nails from their dogs were heard every morning (thin ceilings). AC unit was on one side of the room (3 bed room) and didn't cool the larger bed much. Bed side lamp didn't work, toaster wouldn't stay down, ceiling lamp/fans were dirty. Only a couple electric outlets in the room, which the fridge takes up one. Could use more outlets or at least a couple power strips.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful throughout my entire stay. The beach was located across the small street outside the guesthouse. Room was comfortable and clean. Coffee in room. The grounds were beautiful; saw wildlife every day. The pool was exceptionally clean. Beach chairs were handy. The location was quiet and a short walk to town.
That I couldn’t stay longer.

The property is tucked behind a wall and gates and although it is a step (literally) across from the beach it was completely secure. The garden is substantial with several villas and small lodges but it hides them well and you feel like you are in your own little paradise… people come to Costa Rica to see the wildlife and pay a lot of money to enter the national parks, pay for guides etc… don’t bother, just stay here! I can’t put into words how nice the owners are. We’d just arrived and were treated to a tour of the garden and beach across the road (two steps away) to see not one, not two but three sloths, monkeys, birds, iguanas and a whole host of other creatures. This place is a rare treat and the owners are fantastic. We loved it!!
