Staff were very friendly and willing to assist me despite the language barrier - and having my question pre-typed into Google Translate certainly helped to get the question across. Amazing breakfast buffet. Fast and reliable free Wi-Fi. Good location in Tachikawa (western Tokyo) with easy access down the road to Tachikawa Station so you can reach central Tokyo using a short train ride. The convenience store (konbini) downstairs (24/7) and the MEGA Don Quijote across the road (8 AM - 2 AM) and the BIC Camera tech store around the corner were extremely convenient.
NOTE: This is not a complaint about the hotel, it is more to do with the consequences of my own choices. I wanted to keep the access card in a plastic pouch for safekeeping while I explored Tokyo. That was fine for accessing the hotel lobby and the elevator and also the room door, but I had to take the access card out of my pouch to insert it into the slot inside the door to keep the room powered. Other hotels with keypad entry systems, or where you only tap the card on the door but don't need to keep it in the slot to power the room, are more convenient in my opinion.

Great location, good breakfast, fast checkin and checkout. Nice big and clean property
The double beds were too small for 2 people, I usually book twin beds due to this reason in Japan but thought that if they could provide blanket I could sleep but they don’t provide same extra blanket, and even if they did the bed was tiny, may be best for 1 person but not at all for 2. I guess dormitory is better because there you get at least one bed person not half bed person like most hotels in japan
