Already upon arriving you're submerged into the charm of the Provence by the view of the estate. The gardens are beautifully looked after by Enxin. Every detail attributes to the experience of slowing down in the Provence. Breakfast is phenomally prepared by both, but especially the eggs and daily cake/pie by Richard were 'superbe'. Relax by the pool with view of the Mont Ventoux or take a short scenic walk to the village and nearby chateaux. We loved every minute of our stay and already looking forwards to come back. #noadd

Lovely country location walking distance to a village with restaurants and driving distance to many interesting places in Provence. Many spots around the lovely garden to sit and relax. Warm and welcoming hosts. Beautifully presented and kept rooms. And the pool was well used in the summer heat.
Nothing. Although a bbq for guests to use would make it even better!

Enxin and Richard are the dearest and most attentive hosts you can imagine! We have never experienced such warmth and cordiality in a hotel. They were very helpful without being overbearing. They made us feel like we were the only guests.
The rooms are tastefully furnished with many beautiful details, the garden is wonderful, and laid out with a lot of love. The different colours of the flowers are amazing, especially in the evening sun. You can also have your dinner there and use the dishes provided.
The breakfast is lovingly prepared and you get fruit from the own garden and you can have extra eggs if you want.
Enxin and Richard are a very loving couple and their charm spreads throughout the whole property. They created a jewel for their guests and themselves in lovely Provence.
Thanks, Enxin and Richard for making our holiday so special! We certainly will come back as soon as possible!

The property, rooms and gardens are beautiful, jn a quiet location but walking distance to the village and a short drive to plenty of great restaurants. Richard and Enxin are brilliant hosts with an eye for the little things that made our stay memorable. Delicious and varied breakfasts. We will be back!

We had the absolute joy of spending a day at this breathtaking property – hands down, the best stay I've had in all my travels!
"Picture-perfect" is an understatement for this place, with its stunning gardens and every little detail thoughtfully designed to create a truly delightful experience. Richard and Enxin welcomed us with such warmth that words fail to capture their incredible hospitality. Seriously, they were out of this world! Richard took the time to share insider tips about the must-see sights in and around Provence, and let me tell you, Saint Didier is the perfect home base for exploring the region.
Now, let's talk about breakfast! It was a heavenly feast, featuring homemade jams and honey, the fluffiest eggs, freshly baked goodies, delectable cheeses, and the juiciest cherries straight from their own garden. It was a breakfast fit for royalty!
My only regret is not being able to extend our stay in this enchanting place. But what made it even more special was hearing Richard and Enxin's incredible journey of building this BnB. Their story truly inspired me.
Believe me when I say, I cannot recommend this place enough. It has etched itself into my heart, and the memories created there will forever bring a smile to my face. It's a slice of paradise that surpassed all expectations and left an everlasting impression of joy in my soul.

Lovely b&b in the French countryside with gorgeous gardens and landscaping and the nicest, friendliest hosts. Located in a less touristy part of Provence but near several hilltop villages, wineries and Mont Ventoux. The sweet village of St. Didier is a short, 10-minute walk away.

Enxin and Richard are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. They shared a lot of tips about area. In the morning Enxin serves tasty continental breakfast made of local products.
The house is fully renovated and well maintained. The room and bathroom are spacious and cosy.
The garden is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for peace and nature it is the best choice.
And the price is more than reasonable for what you get.

I cannot thank Richard and Enxin more for the support they provided to us during our tough times. My wife and I stayed 2 nights in late March 2023. During the stay, we visited a church in Eygalières. There, my wife had her passport and other valuables stolen. We went back to Richard and Enxin's place and told the story. They stepped up to help us in many ways. Printing required forms to apply for a new passport and other travel documents, food since we missed dinner, they even called the local police and went there with us to file a police report in the next morning. We do not speak French, so, without their help, it would have been impossible to go through all of this.
Of course, the stay itself was wonderful. We like the room, facility, breakfast, location and so on. We will definitely come back when we visit South France next time.

The hosts Enxin and Richard make you feel at home from the first moment after arriving. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they have a first class grasp of attention to detail. You are never lost for places to visit here because both can easily fill in your days with suggestions of interesting tours and recommendations when not relaxing by the pool.
The property is situated on the outskirts of Saint Didier and a 5-10 mins walk brings you into the village centre. The large tastefully decorated house is situated in spacious grounds containing an excellently maintained swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The grounds also have a small olive grove and vines. A small kitchen is available for guests is situated in the rear courtyard and a washing and ironing facilities can also be found there.
The breakfasts are extensive and contain fruits, breads, cheese, yogurts ,eggs etc. and homemade jams and tarts. The finest hotels may find it hard to match.
The village of Saint Didier is quaint typically French with a host of small shops and restaurants. A stay here is like being in a paradise and we are already planning a trip for early next year. Highly recommended.

The property was beautiful, clean and magical. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing :). Richard and his wife were very attentive, friendly and helped us navigate all the local places to go. You can tell they really care about the guest experience and get joy from creating memorable experiences for their guests. They even took time aside in order to help us plan the next leg of our trip. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Pastries, fresh coffee, eggs, bread, meats and cheeses. Amazing.

We wish we would have found this place sooner and reserved it for our entire trip to Provence . It was the best , most charming and lovely fairytale like 2 night here. It was far better than even the hotels and chateaus we stayed at that were over two times the price. Loved the beautiful room, the lovely hosts, the magical garden, luxurious pool, perfect location, amazing sunsets, so relaxing and they really thought of every single detail. We were so comfortable we did not want to leave.

Richard and Enxin were the perfect hosts. Everything from the breakfast to the information they gave us about the surrounding areas was outstanding. The B and B is so pretty and they have thought of everything you may need to make your holiday special. The gardens are amazing as is the pool area at the end of the day to relax. The shared kitchen is a good place to get to know your fellow travellers. We would definitely go back.

This guesthouse is a bijoux, the house & rooms are very lovely & charming. Breakfast was great! The garden is an eyecatcher. Richard and his wife are very helpful and so sympathic. The only thing which disturbed us was that we stayed only for one night 😩. We highly recommend this guesthouse!

The Bastide and it’s gardens are truely beautiful! if you’re looking for an authentic farm house stay in Provence then this is it. Beautiful views from the rooms. I loved my afternoons lying at the swimming pool. Huge pool with plenty of comfortable loungers and a magnificent view of mount ventoux and in the summer heat this was a necessary reprieve. The town is quaint. We had 2 lovely meals, one at Cour Cours which was traditional French and the other at the local pizzeria. We were lucky enough to be there for the local market on Monday which was fantastic! We also attended the market in neighboring Pernes les fountains on Saturday. As mentioned in other reviews the breakfasts were great with superb fresh bread and pastries from the local boulangerie, cheese, jams, meats , scrambled eggs made to order, fresh fruits and juice. Richard is superb in bringing out maps and local books to advise which areas and villages will be the best to visit.
I did not find the hosts to be as welcoming as described in the other reviews. It was our first time in Provence and first time driving the very narrow French roads. We arrived hot and thirsty from a days travel from Barcelona. It would have been really nice to have been offered a cold drink on arrival. There are a lot of little rules which you get told about. You need to speak in whispers at breakfast so as to not wake guests still sleeping. We moved an outside table a few meters in the evening so we could enjoy an outside dinner and were told that we should have moved it back and wiped it down ( was dirty to start). Richard and Aixen get very stressed around breakfast time. We wandered down a bit earlier , having been told by Aixen that we could get coffee at 8am but then Richard said he was too busy preparing breakfast. There is coffee in the rooms but no milk. I think this could be solved by having an outside coffee bar area where guests can prepare their own coffee.
Some parts of the outside feel a bit tacky. The cushions are old and dirty and the fridge by the pool with water and syrup was not well kept.
There are a few things that this property could do to go from good to great:
- have cold/fridge water in the rooms
- clean up the fridge area around the pool and ensure that there is always cold water
- have a coffe bar where guests can help themselves at breakfast
- offer guests a cold drink and snack on arrival
- we are on holiday, we don’t want to be told little rules all the time.
Finally, there was a mix up at the end with an extra night I had requested by messaging the hosts. They mistakenly only booked 1 room and not 2. Luckily we could get the accommodation at our next place a day early so it wasn’t a train smash. The hosts were apologetic and even gave us 2 bottles of their own wine as a good gesture.

Richard was the best host ever. Greeted us at the door , helped with our luggage. Explained everything about our room in detail. Proceeded to give a excellent advice about the town and where to eat .
Also went over a map and drew a great route for our visits the next day. Better advice than Rick Steves I might say. Took a dip in the spectacular pool. Had the best dinner of our 3 week vacation. And then he served up a delicious breakfast the next morning.
The house and ground are beautiful.
We could have stayed longer.
