Shady & didn't even stay here

Nothing. Didn't stay here.

I arrived at 1am unfortunately after a 19hr drive, 12 of which was to and on the salt pans and back to the road near letlhakane so I was out of reach all day of phone signal and driving. Anyway when I arrived the gate was understandably closed so I tried to ring the buzzer and waited a while. Eventually a boy came out to talk to me and didn't seem to understand the simple questions and concerns asked. I asked if he worked here to which he replied yes but insisted that I can go into reception and pick a key... which I didn't understand as it's more his job to do that then said he would try to call the owners but asked if he could use my phone to do it which I said NO obviously like what kind of shady question is that!? He eventually tried to phone the owners (probably his parents) which understandably at this time of the morning didn't reply. I get that it's late but if you work there you should be prepared for the chance that people may turn up late. I had no communication by text email, found the guy shady, and he didn't seem to know what to do, you'd think the owners would be prepared to at least tell him what to do in this eventuality but instead I had to! Also with my window open talking to him I was swarmed by those green flies. Awful experience, wasted about 30 mins didn't stay here in the end and drove another 30 mins to another 24/7 hotel with real customer service.

Nice peaceful stay in nature

Very big property by the water, gated and with a couple of Kudus. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff is incredibly friendly.

There’s a lot of bugs (not the accommodations fault - it’s nature) and I was hoping for a more social vibe as a solo traveler.

Lovely place to stay along the river.

Great place to stay. It exceeded or expectations and is exceptional value for money.
