Perfect quiet location to decompress after a long haul plane flight before beginning our safari

For me, the Island Safari Lodge is the best place to stay in Maun. Its superb garden with its magnificent trees, the comfort of the chalets and rooms, the friendliness of the restaurant staff and the quality of the meals all contribute to making this a place you simply cannot miss. A tradition that lives on – well done!
Only one downside, though I’m not sure if it’s down to the hotel. The noise from motorboats speeding along the river during the day. Couldn’t we ask them to slow down a bit?

Great facilities, brilliant bird life, very pleasant walks, saw various game on the walks. Happy with the meals and service from the staff, definitely recommended. Tripped to Elephant sanctuary and did a Makoro excursion, loved it.
Nothing comes to mind, loved it.
