Good Location, Friendly Environment, Lovely with a family
Our shower was blocked. Few patches on the walls that needs a repaint as well as on the cupboards in the kitchen.

Very comfortable cottage for our family. Great service, lovely breakfast at restaurant, and good coffee at the Mill House. A great experience for all ages.
A nespresso machine in the cottage would be a great add-on.

The cottages were well equipped for self-catering, and had a nice fireplace with lots of wood. The curtains and upholstery were nice.
We stayed in the forest cottage. We had stayed there 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. The price point then was below R2000 so the cottage lived up to the expectation of the price point. This time, however, the rate was over R3000 and the cottage was the same but 5 years older, and felt a bit run down. It did not live up the the expectation of the luxury price point. The bathroom shower drain was clogged so it flooded and there was a bare light bulb in the bathroom and some loose power outlets. Not something you would expect at the price. It felt a bit cheap for the price, and was a bit of a disappointment as we could have stayed somewhere else for the same experience at a better rate.
