Very budget-friendly but terrible experience — broken couch, weak aircond, and poor cleanliness

If you’re on a very tight budget and just looking for the cheapest place to stay, this is definitely one of the most affordable options. The location is great — very close to Jalan Cihampelas and within walking distance. The apartment is surrounded by convenience stores like Indomaret and Alfamart, food stalls, and a laundry shop downstairs. The owner is also responsive to messages, which I really appreciate.

Unfortunately, I had a horrible and terrible experience staying here. The unit is extremely small — nothing like what you see in the photos. It feels like a standard hotel room with a queen bed turned into a “mini apartment.” When I arrived, there were no towels provided even though they were promised days earlier. I had to wait about 4 hours before getting them. The couch in the living area was broken — you can’t sit properly because it collapses forward. I reported it to the owner, and although they replied quickly, no action was taken. The air conditioner also didn’t work properly, making the room very hot. Thankfully, it rained outside so it became a little cooler. Even after I informed the owner, they insisted the air conditioner was fine, which clearly wasn’t true. The shower head kept falling off, and I even saw a cockroach inside the unit. Before booking, I had read some reviews that advised against this place, but I wanted to believe the owner might have improved things. Sadly, nothing was fixed — it’s even worse now. I absolutely do not recommend this unit, especially if you’re staying with more than two people. If you still decide to book it, make sure to ask the owner for proof that the couch and air conditioner have been repaired before you check in.

The price quality and location was good

The hygiene wasn’t really up to par

Nice, cozy, and good location apartment

The location is very near to cihampelas walk. If we book two room, we can get entire apartment for ourselves. So we get bonus living room and kitchen.

No wifi, the position of desk inside smaller room is a bit wrong
