Lovely pub opposite, easy to find. Everything needed was there.
Easy drive to explore York.
Glad there was turning space as I wouldn't want to reverse onto road.
Mattresses are a bit worn. Not a comfy sleep.
The alarm sensors beep every time you move, but they were easily covered.

Cosy and homely. Near to York and the areas we wanted to visit. Not too far to visit family too.
It was pretty good. The shower was a bit tired but otherwise no issues

We maintained property, 3 double bedrooms, kitchen and utility room and garden

clean and pleasant rooms, helpful hosts, property as described, large garden useful with 2 young children , plentiful parking.
heating was good but insufficient hot water - had to keep waiting for it to reheat or wash in cold water. Noisy plumbing and beeping sensor in larger upstairs bedroom kept occupants awake. not quite enough bedding for us all (6 adults and 2 children)but hosts quickly rectified this when contacted .
