We arrived early and asked if we could have a light lunch. The host/chef prepared one of the tastiest lunches for us, with cheese, meats, bread, freshly cooked vegetables, yummy desserts and a bottle of delicious house wine. Dinner was magical. Our table was beautifully set in front of a roaring fire. And this food was five-star. We dreamed about it ever since. Everything was made on-site with ingredients from their own farm, such as the hand-made pasta with wild boar stew, which we selected from their extensive menu. This was truly one of the best meals on our vacation. The room was exceptional and the facility was wonderful, with nice walking trails, lots of comfortable places to sit and horses to watch. Also a gorgeous view of the valley and monastery below. Additionally, the hosts were wonderful in every way. Very friendly and accommodating. Next time, we will book for a longer stay here.
There is absolutely nothing to dislike.
