I’ve requested breakfast packs as I left before breakfast were being served which were brought up to my room promptly every evening.
Quiet environment.
Safe & convenient parking.
Room 13 was spacious (family room)
Neat & clean bedding.
Convenient little kitchen with everything you need (Double door fridge, microwave oven, cutlery, crockery, kitchen sink, (which is an added extra in a hotel or lodge bedroom) kettle with the usual complimentary tea, coffee, milk & sugar supplies.
There was an awful smell in the room caused by a humidifier that was supposed to hide the mouldy smell. The fragrance was so strong that I had to open all the windows each evening to let fresh air in & even all my unused laundry/luggage had to be re washed when I got home, to get rid of the strong smell (almost like fumigation smell)
Attention to detail as well as some maintenance to the building on the inside would also be suggested as the entrance hall & other common areas in the main building’s walls were a little dirty, especially at the stairway, which is commonly found with the large amount of traffic up & down the stairs.
Other than that, it was quite a pleasant experience with professional & friendly staff. The amenities were also great, with safe parking & a quiet environment.
