Location and food was very good
The loudish music in the main bar as you go in and also during breakfast in the breakfast room.

Lovely interior, great food, great location. Lovely river walk out the back. The town is a quiet small market town with character and some nice pubs, which is not busy with tourists like Bourton on water or stow… good location to get to those places in the north of Cotswolds within half an hour
The car parking is about twenty sports in the service road. It’s free but there was a festival on when we were there so the spots were taken up.
Same for Wednesdays- market day I’d imagine

Lovely room, clean and tidy. Lovely location fairford is a lovely little place. Breakfast was nice. Chips were nice with dinner.
The service was very slow, even though the pub was empty. Staff were not friendly or welcoming, on the bar and for service. There was no staff on the hotel reception which meant we were waiting constantly. We both ordered the burger which was extremely underwhelming. It was very tough and tasted like a frozen burger, for a £15 meal each we were quite unsatisfied. At breakfast no one greeted us, were waiting 15 minutes without a drink so had to ask. Staff didn’t know we were down for breakfast. Also I had a message at 8pm asking when I would arrive, I had arrived hours prior to this. Very unorganised.
