The staff was very friendly and communication was super easy. They helped to assess what way would be best for my climb. The facilities are basic (European perspective) but as expected and perfect for what I needed.

The homestay is very relaxing with the inner garden and the general rural area around. As most places in Java, one can still hear the traffic from the street tough.
I booked a 1-day tour and it was a very long (10hours) and fulfilling day with an engaged and friendly guide. I definitely recommend that. Thanks also for your flexibility as I only booked the evening before.

The staff was helpful in solving my transportation problem. The location was also very accessible with public transportation. It was also nice to have a cafe at the accommodation.
It was a very basic accommodation with no amenities (ie towel and toiletries). The water didn't run a couple of times during our stay, so did the water heater. Be careful of the people trying to rip you off if you want to hike Papandayan.
