The location was ideal. It was located in a commercial area near some shops.
The room was OK but did smell of smoke on arrival. The staff were friendly and lent us a hairdryer. All the facilities worked.
However to use the wi-fi, we had to go into the communal areas.
The car park was able to accommodate our car.

We liked very little, but this was not entirely the fault of the hotel. The problem lies in the inaccuracy of the description presented by Booking.com. To start with, the property is described as a restaurant: there is no restaurant. There is no indication that the property is situated on an industrial estate; and does not live up to its quite attractive photographs. The rooms were cold and boasted the bare minimum of amenities. We were looking for a place to relax and recover from several hundred kilometres of motorway and to prepare for several hundred more today. We needed warmth, comfort and a decent meal. None of these was forthcoming at this property. Accepting that we made the booking and the prepayment in good faith, we returned our keys, took our luggage and went elsewhere: the Jardins du Mess.
This hotel is doubtless one which fulfils a certain rôle, but it was not the hotel we needed. We were misled by a less than frank description and we have paid the (modest) price for our mistake.
