The closet light came on too much in the middle of the night. Motion sensor we and i toss and turn in my sleep.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at HAY Hotel Alsancak and would absolutely stay here again. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were extremely responsive and helpful. They even helped us arrange an amazing private driver for an excursion, which made our trip even better.
One thing non-smokers should be aware of is that there is only one Junior Suite, and because of the hotel’s ventilation system, smoking elsewhere in the hotel could affect our room. This happened about four times during our stay, including twice after midnight. The hotel was very apologetic and offered to move us to a smaller room and refund the difference, but we chose to keep our room. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Great location right next to all the wonderful food and cafes in the Alsancak district! Room was spacious compared to other hotels in Turkiye.
The power/electricity kept briefly cutting in and out throughout our stay. On one occasion we were in the elevator when the power cut stopping the elevator and giving us quite the scare! There was plenty of construction nearby, so perhaps not fault of hotel.
