Modern, clean room
Confusion regarding breakfast. Cooked breakfast needs booking before and continental only available from 9AM

Location and ease of use.
Sadly internet was very hit and miss and was sadly missed by us avid surfers. The room was also very hot as there was little natural ventilation . However a fantastic fan solved the problem!

The small room with sink and toilet en suite was good and handy.
Wardrobe, fridge and TV.
Coffee and tea provided with kettle.
Ensuite was very nice.
Just right for our one night stay.
There's a field over the road, perfect for doggie walks and a small area with grass and benches enclosed next to the pub which is next door to the lodges which allows dogs.
The pub is lovely very oldy worldy
The lodges are near to the town. Chippy within 2 miles was lovely, although the pub serve food it was quite pricy. They also serve coffees and cakes/pastries.
The room was extremely hot even though it was only 21 degrees outside and there was a fan in the room but didn't make much difference.
There's a steam train that goes past every 30 mins or so and although its nice to see was very loud.
Not any plug sockets on left side of room.
A massive let down for the property was no quilt, mattress or pillowcase protectors. I was itching all night and there were stains on the mattress and pillows. You can actually feel the bumps on the mattress foam.
This is a must if there's guests staying and should be mandatory.
I would have rated higher if there were protectors. The other problems are minor. I would stay again if they got the protectors but as it is a definite no.
