Résidence Val de Roland

Lovely location over looking the mountains, peaceful and very clean. Pool a lovely bonus and staff very friendly. Well equipped apartment and value for money. Croissant and bread delivered fresh each morning .

The apartment is basic and could do with being updated but value for money. The plates, cups are in high cupboards making it difficult to reach especially if you’re short!! We cleaned our own apartment which was fine as didnt want to pay the expensive cleaning charge.

Location. Short walk to town. Quiet. Parking. Lift access. Well appointed. Staff excellent.

The main bedroom defies belief! 200 mm between bed and wall on one side, 300 mm on the other side. 200mm at the end of the bed. Not for people with ANY mobility issues. The second bedroom is bunks.

Staff were lovely, the pool is great, location suited us perrfectly.

I can only think of one thing missing: for this rainy ski season we would have needed one of those « blow-drying » cupboards where you can put your wet shoes and gloves on sticks overnight and coats on hangers and air is blown into them to dry them. An idea for another rainy day? ;)

The top feature is the really wonderful location - so much to see and do in this area. A brilliant place to visit. Accomodation peaceful and quiet, slightly outside the centre but just a few minutes walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and Wifi worked well. Nice balcony with fabulous view and pleasing lack of biting insects! Small pool for guests to use and nice to be able to order croissants for the morning at reception. Money off local acitivities - including most enjoyable rafting.

The apartment was much smaller than we'd realised it would be and had no air conditioning, so some days it was unpleasantly hot inside. The wifi was capped to 4 devices. The pool was smallish for the size of the complex with a booking system to book for a 1 hour slot to use it each day. There was no oven and only a very small freexer compartment in the fridge. There was no shower gel, handsoap, washing up liquid, washing sponge etc for self catering - a small cleaning pack could be purchased for 3 Euros, but surely this could have been provide free.
