I would definitely come back and would highly recommend this hotel

This is our third stay at La Piscine and I can’t fault this hotel. The pool is beautiful, the staff are all excellent, comfortable rooms and the meals at Lazy Cow really nice. This is a wry well run hotel, a peaceful place in very busy Skiathos.

A Lovely Stay

All of the staff at the hotel are fantastic. They made us feel welcome and as part of the family throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great location - close enough to all of the shops, restaurants and ports in Skiathos Town, yet the hotel is beautifully relaxing. The Crazy Cow Restaurant has a great evening food and drink selection and the service is superb throughout, with a lovely calm pool view. The room was cleaned to a high standard daily, and the housekeepers always made sure to come back later in the day to clean the room if the original time wasn't ideal. Lovely private balcony poolside views, great breakfast selection and a nice addition of complimentary welcome drinks in the bar after a lot of travelling. It was a lovely ending to the holiday listening to the live music at the poolside, in the evening from our balcony.

I did encounter bedbugs over multiple nights at the hotel. I didn't raise this with the staff, however. It would be great if cappuccinos were able to be made using the coffee machine in the breakfast area at breakfast time. The cappuccinos are complimentary as part of the breakfast which is lovely, but we did feel a bit bad asking the breakfast staff for some each morning.

Fantastic staff, great hotel, beautiful island, great bus s

Good breakfast but made to order fresh eggs/ omelettes and pancakes would have given it the wow factor. Staff were all amazing, friendly, super nice and helpful. Pool and sun beds were great. Comfy seating areas around the hotel were good. Hotel was very clean. Air con in the room worked well.

The shower was not very good, not very powerful and could do with replacing. Drains were a bit smelly at times. Slight bit of noice from the bar in the evenings but not too bad. Bar prices for drinks seemed quite high, 6€ for one bottle non-alcoholic beer.

excellent hotel and would definitely revisit

rooms were very well equipped with large comfortable beds, mini bar/fridge and complimentary toiletries etc. nice size pool too

pool was extremely cold and could perhaps have been slightly heated to encourage more people in but this was only a minor criticism

close walk to centre of town, pool so if you wanted to laze at the hotel or have a day wandering the town, could still swim & relax by the pool.

Disappointing

This is not a 5-star hotel; maybe a 4*. Room dis-appointed. Did not like the breakfast restaurant as such, the buffet did not look good. It was smelly in that room, the morning I walked in. What I do not understood, why is the house keeping team, cleaning that area, while guests are having their breakfast. Why can't cleaning happen, before guests arrive. I had dinner in the restaurant, quality dis-appointed. I'd sent most of the main dish back.

location was excellent

rooms were not maintained. breakfast was extensive with lots of pastries and sweet things but little healthy things. amenities were not a great quality. lifts broken.

We missed normal baguette It‘s not necessary to cut the fruits in that small pieces. Would be better to have a whole peach or apricot But still good breakfast

Perfection!

From the moment of our arrival to our departure, La Piscine Art Hotel was perfection! Beautiful facilities (pool, bar, lounge area), open and airy room overlooking the pool, and a quick walk to the main street/restaurants. Best staff in all of Greece!

Amazing!

The hotel no doubt is beautiful. The staff was amazing and accommodating, they went above and beyond to fulfill any requests, comments, questions, or concerns. They were always giving advice on things to do on a short weekend and even booked excursions. They also have a taxing services to drive you around the island, just speak to the front desk. There is a nice restaurant at the hotel called Crazy Cow which is delicious as well. If you book a breakfast it is delicious, it is up to you to decide if you want it or not. The restroom is big and amazing and the bedroom is kind of small, I did get a balcony facing the garden it’s okay (not a big deal as I’m not a smoker). Location is not right in main town of Skiathos, all you need to take is a 5 minute walk and you will be in the middle of the restaurants and shops and all the hustle and bustle. Skiathos is a city that seems to never sleep in the summer, you can find dinner and dessert at midnight or later and the bars and clubs are open late into the early morning. The hotel is in a quiet location and is meant for adults only as listed on Booking.com Don’t forget to take a dip in the pool! Shout out to Victoria, Cristos, Deppy, Andreas, Mel, and Stathis for being such an amazing staff and making my visit to Skiathos amazing!

Magical stay in Skiathos. Thank you

without a doubt my favourite place to stay in Skiathos. the pool area is beautiful and relaxing, food is delicious, great selection of lovely drinks, but it’s actually the team that make it so special. So friendly, welcoming, feels like home from home. I particularly appreciated this as a solo female traveller, I felt so safe and looked after.

Only thing would be a bit more choice for a lunch menu with more vegan options, but that’s solely selfish 😂

Perfect pool, perfect food and perfect hotel. Can’t wait to come back!

it was stunning, made us feeling completely calm straight away. very tranquil :) The staff were lovely, special mentions to Mel for making us laugh every day and being so attentive, and Victoria for being so helpful and lovely. The pool was beautiful, along with the breakfast and the restaurant.

Just the shower in the room, it was spraying out into the rest of the bathroom so the floor got soaked. But it was just a minor inconvenience, everything else was absolutely faultless and perfect.
