Pérola no Alentejo

Localização e atividades para crianças.

Indicam que não cobram por crianças até 12anos mas infelizmente há sempre taxas e neste caso foi uma criança de 2 anos e outra de meses.

Bom hotel, mas precisa melhor nas atividades de lazer e no restaurante

É um local muito bonito, com boas instalações, mas com poucas opções de lazer, mesmo sendo um clube de campo. Tem uma área de piscina aquecida muito boa.

Tudo tem cobrança extra, um passeio de charrete, bicicleta, para usar a piscina tem que usar touca e como ninguém anda com touca, tem que comprar. Mas o pior foi o jantar a lá carte, comida horrível, mas muito ruim mesmo. Falha gravíssima, ainda mais que estamos em Portugal, onde se come bem em qualquer tasquinha de esquina. Tem que mudar o cardápio e o chef. Uma pena, pois para mim estragou a estadia, pois esperava jantar uma boa comida. Por sorte descobrimos um restaurante local perto do hotel, muito bom.

Very good

We were there during the summer and watched a beautiful sunset while having dinner at the porch of the restaurant. Good food, nice staff, many options on what to do, including pedal kart and a visit to the winery.

The wine itself was disappointing.

Relaxed and beautiful environment with good food.

The property has beautiful surroundings, there are a lot of activities to do (although we didn't do much), the pool is nice (both adult and kids' pool). The spa has an indoor pool that anyone can use as long as they book the time and use a swimming cap and that is good for off season stays when weather can be nos so pleasant outside. The club for the kids seemed quite dynamic, although my kids just wanted to stay around the pool. The little farm area is great for kids, and the feeding the animal's is a great moment for kids to be closer to them. There are some activities that are payed and looked great, however we only stayed for 2 days and were so tired that we just enjoyed the central area. Restaurant has plenty options for lunch, including kids menu, and for dinner although we have to book in advance the time for us to seat in, it was well organised and even when a lot of guests were in the room, there was always plenty food and all very tasty.

The room cleaning staff did the best they could, but there was one day we ended not having the room cleaned since it was 18:00 and they haven't been there. Perhaps they were a bit understaffed at the moment. We enjoyed everything, however one small thing was not as we expected. The rooms all have a small terrace where a couple of chairs and a table (or even only the chairs) would make a great asset. We felt the need to have a place to seat on the terrace and enjoy the tranquility of the place. We could see why some people would pull the room (large and heavy) chairs outside, but that could be easily solved and it is a pitty. Other thing is that for a property with 80 rooms (at least that is whats advertised) the pool area seems small if during the summer they ever get full booked. There are not many options for guests to seat and relax, and chairs/table in rooms' terrace would solve a bit this possible issue. Other than that everything was great!

I won't visit again this place, even the country side is rather beautiful in Alentejo.

Poor quality bedding, pillows very uncomfortable. Shower installation of a 3 stars. The quality of the Buffet is very poor, the food is already cold from the counter. Overall, very bad food!

Pleasant

The landscape around is beautiful. the breakfast was good, the views are amazing.

The hotel has a lot of activities for children and basically everything is adapted for couples with children. If you do not have kids and are looking for a quite holiday, this is not the place to go!!

Relaxing!

The location is great and peaceful. The swimming pool was lovely. The Charrette tour is a must.

The rooms are a little dated. Our curtain had a cigarette burn and the windows had a bit of mould around the edges.

Great place for families!

This is a great place for families. There's animals, pools, grass areas, tennis court, an inflatable bounce house, trampoline, and more. The grounds were beautiful and there was a lot to keep us busy. The rooms we fine, nothing special but very acceptable.

The food wasn't very good. The outdoor pools were really cold but it was unavoidable because they don't use heaters. Some staff were very helpful but a couple didn't want to be bothered. Overall everything was fine.

Two fun days that were a treat for our son.

Very family oriented. Great room, brilliant breakfast, lots of activities for the kid, good swimming pools. The small animal farm was a great addition.

It's a very big property, so it was a bit crowded and our room was far from the rest, so we had to walk a lot.

Place to relax with family

Excellent place for take kids, with a lot of activities for them to experience and enjoy. The rooms were clean and comfy. Will repeat the experience.

Great view and great staff

Staff is very nice and polite, they are always available to help or address any request. Hotel has great views, specially during sunset. Rooms have a good size and are clean.

It is a great place for short stays as it has a few activities to do (including in the hotel cost), you can do extra activities but is paid apart. Also the dinner and breakfast are OK, it is not bad but almost the same options every day, if you want to eat out you will need to drive around 30 minutes.

Location is breathtaking. the hotel fits wonderfully in the landscape. lots of character, friendly environment for families and children. pool area, vineyards and the farm.

Rooms fall short for families with kids. They are ok but not spacious. maybe it’s also time for a renovation.

Wonderful family experience

Staff was super friendly and efficient. My daughter loved all the activities: feeding the animals, pony ride, trampoline, playground, the indoor pool. The food was also pretty nice. We had a really great family weekend.
