The location was excellent - there’s a metro station very close by and it’s right next to the Louvre. Excellent restaurants right next door also. The room was very quaint and I liked that it had a luggage spot where I could put my case. Good wardrobe and storage, and easy access PowerPoints beside the bed. Plenty of options for breakfast, including pastries, baguette, and boiled eggs. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and generally spoke excellent English.
The bathroom was tiny and strangely shaped. The shower was the smallest I have ever used - the standing space was approx 60cm square - I couldn’t bend over at all. There’s a shower curtain that touches you constantly, and the mixer tap is easy to bump and turn off the water when you’re in there. It was also hard to move around to dry after showering. The hairdryer is extremely old and low powered. The walls are also very thin, I could hear people through the wall and in the corridors. The pillows were very old and lumpy, and there were only 2 provided.

The location was fantastic
Very old decor, needs painting and new carpets. Narrow stairs and concerns about fire escape routes. Noisy air continuity on roof outside bathroom window running intermittently through the night
