The property sits within a vineyard overlooked by hills and woods. It is a beautiful setting and the grounds, the vineyards, the lawns and the gardens are peaceful and serene. it is picture postcard pretty. Parking is easy and shaded, the wine tasting available to guests was informative, excellent and very enjoyable. The staff by and large are lovely, helpful and very friendly, particularly the reception staff and the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant. This part of France is gorgeous and the staff are helpful in explaining how best to experience it.
The staff serving in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful but the restaurant itself is let down by relatively poor organisation and control. At times it felt quite irritating to be served entree's before the amuse bouche, to be rushed between courses and to have omissions of basics such as olive oil or bread etc. This is not a cheap hotel and the restaurant, whilst not Michelin star, is still set within an otherwise high quality property. Overall, our experience would have been rated much higher but for this disappointment.

Everything is amazing in the property and the stuff provided an outstanding service. My wife and I had a wonderful honeymoon.

Location was good in respect of proximity to Menerbes and LaCoste and terrace overlooking vineyards was superb .
Food including dinner and breakfast following morning were sub par and nothing special in respect of the HIGH TARRIF CHARGED by the Bastide de Marie management
