the location and the breakfast was outstanding. the garage right in the backyard is convenient but fills up quickly and costs €20 per day.
my room was in the old, not yet renovated part of the hotel. it was clean, the bathroom as well but you could tell that it has not been renovated in the last two decades,

Great locations. Many rooms have been refurbished. That staff are friendly and attentive. They really care.
It’s very very hot inside during the summer. Like most properties in this part of Europe, they don’t have air conditioning and it can be uncomfortable, especially at night.

Excellent parking facilities. Very helpful staff
Thirty years ago, when I lived in Tübingen, the hotel Krone was a comfortable place with a wood-panelled dining room, serving local food. Now it is all modern, but not in a terribly nice way. The food is international, but not really great. I had a Wiener Schnitzel that contained little meat.
