Great service, super facilities

All expectations met and exceeded

Comfortable beds, large rooms, clean, nice extras in the room such as an exercise bike or a punching bag. Good TV. Close to Edeka and very close to my workplace. The market is also nearby.

Very poor internet connection (especially in the evening), shower in the bathtub rather than separate, rather poor choice of food for breakfast, very tight parking spaces.

We've stayed at Vienna House Easy Coburg quite a few times, and were very happy with it once again. Our rooms (2) were very large, well appointed and pleasant, with lots of storage shelves and hangers, and we were not disturbed by noise, even though an annual meeting of college fraternities was in town. Breakfast was exceptionally good, with assiduous service. The garage offers plenty of sheltered parking and only costs 12 Euros a night extra. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable (extra pillows, for example). You can even opt not to have your room serviced daily and get a small reward (an apple, a natural soda) in return! And on the third floor landing there's a large assortment of plants among which you can choose to make your lodging that much more pleasant during your stay. A whimsical bonus I've found nowhere else!

For us, Vienna House Easy Coburg's biggest downside is that it has no air conditioning. We were able to book for the first week of June because the temperatures were cool, otherwise we would have had to look elsewhere. Also, you have to climb in and out of a bathtub to use the shower, not optimal. But otherwise, we had no complaints whatsoever.

Breakfast was good. Not many options but everything tasted good. In this department they are doing it well. Blankets are nice and comfortable.

Room is a typica room from al 3 star hotel, not 4 stars. No mini bar, no toiletries, no kettle, no AC. Rooms are also not clean, especially the bathroom. Toilet was full of urine marks and shower was dirty. That might have something to do with the fact that they offer a small gift to whoever choses not to have their room clean. They give you a small bag that you are supposed to hang on your door if you rather have a gift instead of your room cleaned. On our floor, 6 rooms had this bag hanging on the door but i suspect there is no gift at all because at time of checkout the bags were still empty. I think whoever stays one night only, does not care if the next guest gets a clean room or not.
