Italian Lifestyle Hotel & Osteria Chartreuse

We had a lovely stay in Room 25. The room was small but had enough space for us, was absolutely spotless, bright and extremely well soundproofed – we couldn’t hear any outside noise. The air conditioning was a massive bonus as temperatures reached around 37°C during our stay, and it was wonderful coming back to a nice, cool room. The bathroom and toiletries provided were also excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of choice from the cold buffet as well as eggs freshly prepared to your liking. Free parking was another great bonus. We mainly used public transport, taking the bus to Interlaken Ost and trains from there to explore the surrounding area. The hotel also provided a complimentary Panorama Card Thunersee (although we did have to ask for it), which gave us free bus travel and discounts at attractions such as St. Beatus Caves. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Comfortable hotel room, albeit quite small. Nice breakfast with eggs cooked to your liking. Very quiet location with free off street parking. Restaurant on-site. 2 minutes walk to the lake for relaxing/swimming. Bus stop outside for old town trips. All staff were really friendly and helpful.
