We don't like the surprise that we have to pay extra money for free city bus, which should be disclosed when booking, not at the time of check out. The food was much less value than we expected.

Room w a fantastic view from my balcony.

Wonderful stay. The room was beautiful with a fun view of the plaza, mountains and forests. I loved the old-world ambiance joined with the modern room and furnishings. The location was an easy walk to a wonderful area of shops and restaurants.

I liked all. No disappointments.

Exceptional

Location of the hotel is excellent, right next to a train station. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. It was a loft room (you had to watch for your head at certain parts of it) but it was of good size and even the bathroom had a window with the view of nearby mountains, I was really pleasantly surprised by that detail. Breakfast was good, not such a big selection but there were some nice options.

I found it quite problematic that restaurant closes for dinner that early. After 6pm its either limited offer or its fully closed (on Sunday).

It is an awesome place to stay!

Breakfast was good, the room was awesome, it was small but it was just for one person, the bathroom was tight but very clean.

The room heat could have been turned on just a little too take the chill out of the room before arrival

Very enjoyable stay!

The hotel was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was good, the hotel's location was close to the bus station and the city centre, and the staff were very helpful.

Enjoyable and a good central town base for Garmisch in one direction and historic Partenkirken

The view from our room - looking over the mountains. We also experienced nice friendly staff in the restaurant.

Very good

Very clean. Parking is available only in a pay as you go parking lot across the street. Laundromat down the street, 7.50 euro to wash, 6.50 to dry and fold by staff. NOT self service. Breakfast was traditional bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice. Very friendly staff. Family room was basic, clean.

No free parking. Clean but felt like 1970's Holiday Inn. No frills but adequate. Within walking distance of only a Mexican restaurant.

In Garmisch for The Passion Play 2022

Breakfast was very good, wide selection of cereal, cheeses and sliced meats plus boiled eggs, bread and rolls. Teas, coffee and fruit juice also available. The room key got lost in Oberammergau and a 30 Euro charge was applied. The atmosphere on the terrace was excellent and much helped by the excellent wait staff who engaged with all the patrons in both English and German.

Rooms are a bit small, but for a business trip this was not a big problem for me.

Very good

Staff was very friendly. The sauna at the hotel was not working, but they have a deal with a nearby (10 min walking) gym that is very nice and has a sauna, that I could use for free.

I would have appreciated having more towels in the room.
