A very good choice for a stay in central Mexico City. Excellent location, close enough to the airport and with a metro station just around the corner. Plenty of places to eat and drink locally. It's traditional, rather dated, and a bit functional, but a great place to stay for all that. Clean and well maintained. Massive rooms, well furnished, big bathrooms, friendly, competent staff, restaurant/bar in the basement. Pretty quiet in the room, and comfortable beds. It will certainly be an option if I stay in Mexico City again.
No coffee making facility in the room, and the restaurant didn't open until 7 AM (Mexico City is not an early morning society) so I had to go to the local 24 hour 7-11 to get my early morning coffee every day.

The male staff who greet you and help with your bags were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I really appreciated their service. Room was clean.
The biggest issue was comfort. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and the comforter had a rough fabric that felt itchy on the skin. I could also hear a lot of noise from outside the room, so I hardly got any sleep. The room felt quite dark at night even with all the lights on, and I think brighter white lighting would be better than the yellow lights. There was also an ironing board provided, but no iron.
The ladies at the front desk could also be more attentive and welcoming. There were times when they were focused on their phones while I was speaking to them. More eye contact, acknowledgment, and greeting guests would improve the experience.
