We have stayed at the Palace Hotel Regina for the third time, and once again we had a wonderful experience.
The location is excellent – the beach is just a short walk away, and the pedestrian area, restaurants, and ATMs are all within easy reach. Parking is also very convenient, as it is easy to find a space on the surrounding streets, and we always felt that the area was safe.
The breakfast deserves a special mention: the selection is excellent, with plenty of choices to start the day.
We really enjoy coming back to this hotel and will definitely return again. Highly recommended!
The only downside was the noise from the garbage collection trucks in the morning. Waste is collected every morning in the street, and the trucks can be quite loud, especially if your room faces the street.

The hotel is pretty close to the beach, with small, but clean rooms. Very good breakfast included in the price.
The rooms are not really isolated from noise perspective, could hear guests from all directions. Parking is included in the price, but since we came on bikes, we had to park bikes in a small corridor (not official parking lot), as there were no other places free.

Both the breakfast and dinner was excellent. Staff of the restaurant was very professional and nice. Room was very nice and spotlessly clean! The beach is about 100 meter’s walk.

Near the beach and the center of the city.
Breakfast was good.
We were there for four days with our 4 years old son. We’ve got a room in the forth floor. On the second day I noticed that the balcony door cannot be locked. It was not that easy to open the door but I am sure my son could do that if he wanted to. Anyways, for me as a parent was that a critical issue which had to be removed. I asked either for some limitation so that my son couldn’t even approach the balcony door or to give us another room in which the door can be locked. They didn’t care at all and avoided successfully any contact with me, no proposal, no cooperation, no accommodation ability.
Our room had also an issue with the drain, it stuck and the water couldn’t flow down. Also this issue I reported but never heard anything from the reception.
Conclusion:
Bad customer service and accommodation ability.
