The territory of the hotel I quite big compared to the pictures. The water in the pool is warm. Great view from the roof terrace. Nice and supportive staff.

Superb

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great view and big balcony. Good breakfast- fruits, fresh bread, good coffee. Location- next to the bus-stop, easy walk to the quiet beach.

Good if you are on a budget

The warm pool was definitely a plus! The staff was very attentive and Kind. Location is not perfect but ok if you are on a budget, you can take the bus to Casamicciola and Ischia Porto, both very close. Buses are not the best in Ischia but in the case of the hotel there are plenty that run by. Breakfast is good but staff gives you the things you choose which can be a bit awkward if you want to have more than one cornetto or slice of cake. I asked for 2 cornetti and I was told it was one per person. however good quality and good variety. Beautiful view with the sea and Vesuvius.

it was quite cold at night and the room didn’t have an extra blanket. we called reception but it was late and we didn’t get an answer at that moment, even though staff were really nice. The blanket on the bed seemed a bit dirty/dusty. We didn’t have hot water on our second day but we thought it was momentary, when we tried to shower on the third day, we phoned reception to let them know and they solved it right away.

Excellent stay. This was our third visit so very happy as usual.

Breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful. Location was perfect. Near the port and shops.

Room balcony pool breakfast very good a plentiful bus close by should be sandwiches to order when required by as wanted 25 euro for evening meal they could of made up a sandwich in 5 mins so had to go out to get something to eat. Would still stay there but these small things make all difference and would of given 10 otherwise

No fridge or kettle needs to be signs for evening stop people talking in corridor with unfair when sleeping just the few ignorant people

Confortable, súper clean, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff

WiFi connection failed a lot. Although the staff have helped me with an amplifier, the problem continued... i could have WiFi or sometimes gsm network in my room. Sometimes hot Water failed specially during the night, dont know why. Still it is a good place to stay a couple of days

Great place to stay at - cosy rooms, swimming pool, reacheable by bus or on foot from the centre

The hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, with a view to the see. There is also a swimming pool belonging to the hotel. The staff is nice. Rooms are air-conditioned, lovely and comfy.

Breakfast was yummy and generous. We had pool view with a huge balcony-really enjoyed it. Gemma apartments is centrally located and easy to access. We first walked (a long walk but not impossible), then we rented a scooter from a place next to the hotel-ideal way to travel in Ischia. Staff were superb-very helpful and easy going!

I want to live in that hotel!!!

the room with balcony is perfect to work and enjoy the sunset. The room is highly clean and Domenico is very helpful with tips about what to do around. The pool is huge with a relaxing jacuzzi with (real)hot water attached. we could noticed that everything is taken care

Great pool with thermal water (what is not that great when it is super hot and one had a few drinks the night before). Very kind staff. Good breakfast. Great quality of lunch and dinner meals (limited selection only).

We only missed a fridge or minibar in our room. There is a bar, at reasonable prices, in the hotel however you dont want to bother the staff all the time for each and every bottle of water.

Relaxing.

The room had an amazing sea view with a private balcony/terrace. Clean, good facilities and good value for money considering other single rooms for solo travellers. Bus stop in front of the hotel, is easy to reach the Port of ischia. Excellent staff.

Convenient location, helpful family run hotel.

Conveniently located to make use of the round the island buses. Also well placed for Casamicciola ferry port. The naturally heated pools were superb after a day of sight seeing!

There are lots of steps in and around the hotel. the breakfast was adequate & could have been more inspiring! Traffic noise, Italian use of horns & sirens were irritating.

Family Run Great Location

Cute Family run hotel walking distance to a incredible Terme and restaurants. There is also a pool/jacuzzi and sun roof for beautiful views.

It was my first visit to Ischia and it was wonderful! The heard working Italian family, who runs hotel Gemma is hospitab

I like the ample veranda/balcony that was attached to my room. I could sunbathe, privately, with the beautiful sea view. Hotel is simple, but very clean. Thermal swimming pool is clean and spacious.
