I liked the location and the surrounding area. The ride down the mountains, not so much. The scenery, well worth the knuckle ride! Very lively area as the tour boats are literally on your door step! The food downstairs was excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I had help from Anton with regards to parking. And super helpful in general. No issues with checking in or checking out. He recommended downloading the parking app, Easypark. Yes there is free space to park but it's a very busy area. It's free from 20.00 till 08.00. I've seen fines being issued towards the end of the evening. I had a fantastic stay. My room was at the back which suited me fine. It was quiet and I enjoyed that. My stay was enjoyable.
I didn't have a bad experience. Nothing negative to say.

The location is amazing next to the port. Perfect if you have organised a boat trip departing from the port. The breakfast was very good. The building and the furniture is quite old; however the room offers the basic such fridge, hairdryer and amenities. The staff was very helpful.

We loved the location; lots to watch from sea view balcony rooms over the busy harbour. Parking available opposite including 3 disabled bays. There is a lift to all floors.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Two small bottles of water were provided. Key card room access. Check in was smooth on arrival and the ground floor restaurant offered a delicious menu. Very convenient. There was some noise until midnight from local restaurants but nothing objectionable.
Breakfast was served in a conservatory looking over the harbour. A reasonable selection of yoghurt, fruit, toast, scrambled eggs etc was provided. Self service coffee slowed the process. This area is functional; plastic seating etc but would benefit from soft furnishings, place mats etc to make the area more welcoming and less stark. We would stay again-thank you!
When the lift stopped mid floor and we called the alarm a male staff member who attended was rude to my parents. My parents are 85/90 years. They were cramped into a tight space and anxious. I would expect respect and empathy to customers.
This behaviour was in contrast to the politeness and helpfulness of the female staff members

Enzo in the reception was very nice and helpful, the rest of the staff really did the minimum effort.
