Villa Kavourakia

We had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the convenient location. There is a nice beach nearby, while other beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Skiathos Town is about a 10-15 minute drive, and there are several tavernas nearby. The property is set a little away from the main road, so the surroundings are generally peaceful and quiet. The studio was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The property is also home to a very friendly dog and several lovely, affectionate cats. The animals are very sociable and add to the homely atmosphere of the place. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it a very convenient base for exploring Skiathos.

The soundproofing between the studios is limited, so the level of noise can depend on your neighbours. The cats are free to move around the entire property and regularly come onto the balconies. This is worth considering if you are travelling with a dog that does not get along with cats, as it may make it difficult to relax outside or use the balcony comfortably.

Although short, our stay at villa Kavourakia was very cousy. The room was spotlessly clean with all the necessary amenities. Babis, our host was great, and it felt like we have come to visit an old friend. House is few minutes away from 2 very nice beaches and there is a small shop and a grill nearby. You can take the sun umbrella at the house in case you need it and the host is offering a service of airport or port transportation at a very reasonable price.

Very nice villas, all catered, beautiful view, very nice owners

The property is up an unmade track and you arrive to beautiful gardens and some friendly cats. The view from the apartment was fabulous. It’s fairly basic, but had all you need and the cleaner came in daily. Babis kindly picked us up from the bus as it would have been hard work with our wheelie bags. He was helpful and friendly and happy to provide information. I would happily stay again. We decided that the nearby beach was in fact our preferred and no bus required. A perfect spot to unwind and chill! Easy access to Skiathos Town and boat trips and would also recommend Skiathos Horse Riding Centre.
