Great location to catch a morning ferry to the islands. The room was no frills but very clean & comfortable with all the amenities you would need. Good air conditioning, tv, fridge etc.. The bed was huge and very comfortable. very good value for money for a short overnight stay.

The bathroom is renovated. The linen are so white and new. The location very convenient. The message after the booking so informative. The breakfast very practical and fresh. Plus a small environmental fee because the hotel is with one star i think. I have been in a so called three star hotel before on Iroon Politechneiou street and the bathroom facilities were in very bad shape. Bravo Ideal. Value for money for solo travelers. Some say the hotel is a for a short stay. I say it's a for a long stay since Piraeus and Athens is huge and you can spend more since Ideal is economical. If you want a hotel to be a resort it's a different thing but if you need a decent stay i would suggest it.
Only one thing. My room was close to the storage room of the cleaner. She went there at 07;30 am and was making some noise. I wake up at that time eitherway almost everyday and if i dont have a schedule i sleep again but because i got distracted by the noise until i understand who it was i lost my sleep and didn't sleep back.
