Easy to find, comfortable and accommodating.
Amsterdam doesnt sleep so it was a little noisy but to be expected in the middle of town.

Location is really good, close to the station and close to nightlife.
The canal view is great and worth paying the extra.
The staff were friendly and great.
It would be nice if there was a fridge in the room.
I could hear other guests chatting, and weirdly it was only in the toilet. I believe it was the extractor fan which must be connected to other rooms.

The location was perfect! The central station was a 5 min walk, lots of restaurants and business within walking distance.
The wifi in the room was quite weak

great, central, location; friendly and helpful staff
it is not clean - there was a lot of hair and dust on the floor; the air conditioning was blowing air smelling of mildew and its air intake was covered in a thick layer of dust
the breakfast is underwhelming - it is not a buffet where you can mix and match whatever you want (which is standard for “breakfast included” options); instead you get vouchers to a nearby cafe that has a fixed set of 5 breakfasts; for someone doing a considerable amount of walking each day, the amount of food included in the voucher menu is not really enough, so you might end up buying more; the quality is not great either, and that applies to both voucher menu items, and also their regular menu items;
it is quite noisy, due to the ventilation that makes strange sounds and random times, even when it is turned off
it is not comfortable, albeit this should not come as a surprise - the hotel is located in an old building, so the rooms are both small (in surface) and short (in height)
