The Historic buildings and Gardens and good quality food
Cost. We visit as often as we can for the Castle Experience, but are reluctant to spend so much money on one night Dinner Bed and Breakfast more than once per year at the most.

The castle itself was amazing but the importance appeared to be for the staff to appear 'posh' rather than friendly. Our room was fine but on a series of levels ie step up and down between rooms. The food was good, but again very formal. It was nice but expensive - a once in a lifetime event. Which is probably the whole point!
Oddly there was no air conditioning and the room got quite hot. Thankfully we found an electric fan.

Excellent location. Very pleasant staff. Very special building with a very interesting history. The room had some lovely luxury touches. Very good restaurant.
