The hotel is set in beautiful gardens that lead through a secure gate to the beach. The location is handy to reach many areas ie TorquayDawlish and Paignton.
The hotel is a bit dated, the breakfast is very busy at 9 but if you go down earlier not so bad, there is a problem if you require fried or poached eggs and cause a hold up by breakfast area, scrambled eggs are available at all times

Not enough plug sockets in room to charge phones room 11 . Paint work tired on doors and door frames. Long walk to front door with dog . No fridge in room , had to bring my own mini fridge . Menu could be more imaginative green leaves no colour (rabbit food )no dressing on salad . GF menu poor .

Close to amenities
Restaurant staff didn’t ask if we needed anything after giving us our food. ie sauces etc and at breakfast you have to catch staff if you wanted a different egg other than scrambled.
Our duvet wasn’t put into cover just shoved inside and mattress cover wasn’t put on bed properly so before going to bed we had to make the bed ourselves.

The location is good. .room size was also nice
Poor service over breakfast. The shower in room 212 is a joke ..
Some areas need a good clean
