The apartment was spacious and had plenty of natural light. The kitchen area was nice, as was the sofa in the shared living area. The bathroom was also spacious. Overall, the apartment and its facilities were very good. As for the location, it’s very well connected to the city center. There’s a supermarket nearby, which makes it really convenient to buy groceries and food to prepare at home.
What we didn’t like, and what really made our experience harder, was the security system to get into the building. You constantly had to use an app, and that app required being registered with a phone number that could receive text messages. Since we were foreigners without an active local number or SIM card, it was really hard for us to have easy access, at least until we finally set up an electronic SIM card. On top of that, it required internet access all the time, which limited us quite a bit. So we would suggest a much simpler way to get in, maybe something like a unique code for each guest staying in the building. Despite being in a very central area, it’s worth pointing out that it’s not mentioned that just below or to one side of the apartment there’s a casino bar. And the casino bar closes really late, so at night you can clearly hear noise in the bedrooms. Almost every night we had issues with the surrounding noise. And even though the transit connection is good, there was always noise in general. So that’s definitely something to keep in mind. Also, some nights it sounded like there was furniture being moved around upstairs, which made it hard to sleep on a few occasions.

Location is just a walk from the centre..
Shower door was not closing properly.

The flat was very clean and the beds very comfortable. It was perfectly located to everything we needed to get to. First night we were utterly melted and I asked for an extra fan which they didn’t have but they bought one especially and we were incredibly grateful.
I’d messaged ahead about us bringing 2 mobility scooters and they assured us they’d fit into the lift to get up to floor our apartment was on - one if the scooters didn’t fit in the lift and my partner had a right job fitting it upright in the lift. They did offer to charge it at the head office but my partner found his solution easier as we sometimes came back late. There was no parking not even on street parking, a good 10-15 walk/scoot away. The kids were on the sofa bed, youngest was grand but my 13 year old is adult sized abs was said it was incredibly uncomfortable she could feel every bar through the thin mattress.

The location was good and walking distance to plenty of good sites.
Once i had the app, it was very easy to get in and out and finding the accommodation was straightforward. I did not use the kitchen much but it did look well equipped. There is the option to collect keys too.
The main issue was the noise from the road - this was a combination of loud passersby, cars / cleaning trucks, sirens/alarms and also the convenience store directly below has a doorbell that rings anytime someone walks through the door. This was just about manageable with the window closed, but still could hear every word of people walking past. Also there was no fan / air con so it has the potential to get extremely warm.
The shower leaked on the first day - it appears this was from the direction that the shower head was pointing, but still just from normal useage. They did come and look into that though when we mentioned it. The whole property felt a bit 'tired'. Harsh lighting, uncomfortable sofa, and a smell throughout the apartment on arrival.
Having the key fob on your phone did feel like quite a lot of pressure that if the phone died then you would have noway to access the apartment. We could have collected keys, but wonder if they could leave one set of physical keys / fobs in the apartment to have both options
