The view from our sea front apartment was impeccable, amazing. We felt like heaven on earth. From our dining room Sometimes I was in doubt if I was at the Hawaii .. as we could see the clear sea with the umbrellas and people passing by, beautiful restaurants , the colourful house were easily seen from our seafront apartment .
Also to make our holiday complete there was Rosa who took care of us beyond and over. She is a kind hearted woman and helped us in every way she could to see that we were happy and feeling comfortable. The place was very clean. We had our own kitchen as well .
I will surely recommend caravella as It is the best place one can choose. It is situated at Grande Spiaggia in Positano. You feel like a King here. You can find everything near the caravella .
Come and go with a ferry as it is mostly convenient. ,you can use deckchairs and table at a private area of caravella.
I will surely come again next year.

Right on the beach. Lovely views. Be prepared for sightseeing straight up unless you go by boat. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Beautiful beach. There are lounge chairs in the front of the hotel for guests, but not on the beach.
No elevator. The room we booked was much larger with two bedrooms. The manager switched us to a lovely rooftop single room with outdoor porch without checking with us to accomodate a larger party. But we let it go. Porter to carry lugage up but no one around when we had to leave early. Town porter charged us 20E to take our luggage down and about 100ft. In front of the hotel, you have to pay 25E to lay a towel down or 100E to have a chair and table. They do let you walk on the beach and get in the water as long as you don't stay during daytime hours.

Location is good as you are right on the beach and you are close to restaurants, the port and a 30 second walk away from the beach/sea. It was more suited to us as we had already been to Positano before so we were on this trip mainly to use the beach and relax instead of exploring and the savings on the beach costs made it more financially suitable for us. We didn’t book a sea view room but were given one which was a nice bonus. Air con in the room was great. The beach area was good and was what we were expecting, you also get the WiFi from the hotel so you can relax and enjoy the internet etc. Overall it was a pleasant stay but next time as someone who has travelled quite a bit I would probably go for a hotel/something with some more security and better facilities.
I had read previous reviews so had an expectation before getting to this residence. There is no iron in the hotel so we had to go right to the top of Positano to buy one which we could not bring back with us as it was too big for our cases. There is a beach club on the beachfront which plays music till early hours of the morning but each night the volumes changed so some nights were better than others (not the accommodations fault but something to consider if you are sensitive to noise at night). You can hear your neighbours a lot in this place which makes you feel like you cant be your own normal level of noise or even talk that loud without people listening. The shower was broken so instead of coming out the little holes it just came mostly out the side and was one large gush of water. Beds were ok. The final thing was there was no level of security between the residence and the public, if someone wanted to then they could walk into your residence and be in your accommodation area which I was not a fan of.
