The property is gorgeous. It was comfortable, clean and really really welcoming.

It was okay generally, but nothing was outstanding. The cleaning staff were pleasant, as were reception staff.
Considering it was 4* and 8.3 rating, it was disappointing. Gym was well equipped.
1. Noisy people in corridor on 1st night for 1 hr between 1 and 2am! No reception staff answering calls to deal with the issue.
2. Parking is awful. Struggled to park every time we went out.
3. Air con in main bar area at night made it uncomfy to sit in.
4. The pool has low lighting to create an 'atmosphere'. This means you cannot go there if you want to have a dip and read on the loungers.
5. Breakfast was average for a good hotel. No table service for coffee so you have to line up and serve yourself.
6. No air con in rooms. Well, there are units but no means to turn them on.
7. Lack of comfy chairs to sit on in public areas to sit and read the paper/book.
