The host was very good and very responsive.
The photos exaggerate the size of the outdoor space. The utilities were old and tired. We struggled to cook on them as they were so slow. There isn’t enough outside space for 4 people. There are only 2 sun beds. The location isn’t easy for getting back from Positano centre. The trees in front of the apartment need trimming as 50% of our view of the sea was blocked by overgrown trees.

The location. If you want to fully live the Positano view experience, this is the place to stay.
The Villa and the private pool need renovation. The Villa Azalea we stayed in had some damages (broken tiles, outside furniture with rust). The 4 bedrooms were spacious for the stay of 2 families with 2 children each. The pool needs renovation as well. The bottom was cement dyed blue, the temperature was way too warm for a day with 37 degrees and 60% humidity. Someone who visits Villa Positano should know that it is in the wider area of Hotel Agavi. This makes things complicated from time to time as regards accesses to the beach. At some point you feel unwanted in the property with so many limitations. And Agavi’s staff was also rude. However, we “forgave “ everything as the view and the experience made it worth. Keep also in mind that in order to visit Positano, you can take a small boat from the hotel. For the family of 4 , the cost is approximately 40 euro per ride.

The host, Conny, was always at the end of the phone and ready to help if we needed anything. She kindly arranged for a delivery of shopping for us from a local shop. Our private pool was lovely and also clean.
I think there could have been certain information left to help you such as instructions on how to work the cooker, the details of the local shop so you could order a delivery of food. We had to find these things out by asking Conny who was very helpful but if there was information in the apartment then it would have been easier from the start.
